Brilliant colour is always stunning when it comes from a large ground-hugging, weed-suppressing evergreen mat and Phlox subulata, also known as Creeping Phlox, are just perfect. Every spring and summer the evergreen cushions are smothered with pretty star-shaped pink stiped white flowers. Ideal when planted at the front of a border, trailing from a crevice in a wall or for softening hard landscaping where it will creep and caress. Deer resistant and attractive to butterflies.
