With its stunning clusters of vibrant lavender blooms, Phlox paniculata 'Amethyst' adds a touch of enchantment to any landscape. This perennial beauty is a favourite for its clusters of long-lasting flowers, in pastel shades of violet and blue which emit a stunning scent in clouds. Attracting bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, your garden will be brought to life with colour, scent, and movement from July to September. Low maintenance and easy to grow, Phlox paniculata ‘Amethyst’ is happy grown in either borders or containers and lasts well when cut for a vase to bring the sweet scent indoors. Phlox are slug resistant and tolerant of most soil conditions, preferring a sunny or partially shaded position in a south, east or west facing aspect. Growing to a height and spread of up to 1m, Phlox paniculata ‘Amethyst’ is a fully hardy herbaceous perennial that can be left outside over winter to bloom again for many years.
