Tell Me More...
An exciting new groundcover sensation Phlox divaricata Blue Ribbons has tricolour foliage which is green and cream with resplendent reddish-pink edges which are particularly prominent during colder parts of the year. Leaves are simple in shape and borne all year round - adding colourful interest when this can be sparse in the garden. In summer, wonderful purple blue, sweetly scented flowers appear - drawing in both admiring eyes and a host of garden pollinators. Perfume is likened to a mix of cloves and vanilla - sure to delight the senses and ideal for planting near a pathway, in a pot or raised bed where you can get maximum benefit from this wonderful phlox variety. Phlox divaricata Blue Ribbons prefers a spot in well-drained soil in partial sun. A fully hardy, evergreen perennial, this robust and vigorous variety reaches a height of 30cm and spreads up to 50cm - giving you carpets of colourful foliage and flower all year.
