Tell Me More...
Surrounded by aromatic evergreen foliage, which when brushed against, is reminiscent of freshly poured gin and tonic! The highly scented, starry blooms of the Philotheca Myoporoides seem to almost sparkle in the sunlight. The long-lasting blooms which appear in both winter and spring are extremely popular with florists.Plant outside in well-drained soil in sun or part shade to get the very most out of this delightful hardy shrub. We also recommend choosing a sheltered spot because your fragranced friend is not a fan of frost. During immaturity, this Australian shrub will need to be watered once or twice per week when the soil becomes dry and once maturity is reached the plant becomes fairly drought tolerant. There should also be little need for pruning at this stage. Your plant will arrive in a 8cm pot but this beauty can reach a height and spread of 2m.
