Tell Me More...
Masses of open, trumpet-like flowers with a dark alluring eye and bright, magenta purple petals. Petunia ‘Bubbles Purple’ is a new arrival for 2025 with a beneficial self-cleaning habit, so flowers drop naturally and you do not need to deadhead. Flowers are held from June to October – bursting over containers to create a gentle cascade in baskets, containers and raised beds. A handy tip is – if you plant Petunia ‘Bubbles Purple’in the border, flowers will scramble and spread to create a mat of colourful groundcover – just perfect for filling in gaps and getting rid of pesky weeds. Foliage emerges in March and lasts through to the first frosts. Petunia ‘Bubbles Purple’ prefers to be planted in a moist, well-drained loam or sand-based soil. Plants like a spot in either full sun or partial shade and they will grow to a height and spread of 40cm. These are tender (H2) annuals which will die back and should be composted down at the end of the season.
