Tell Me More...
Our Persuasive Penstemon Collection is as delicious as a bowl of summer berries. This co-ordinated collaboration is so fruity looking that it's sure to initiate cravings for these juicy colours in your own garden. Persuasive Penstemon Collection comprises: 'Blackbird'; 'Apple Blossom'; and AGM holder 'Pensham Just Jayne'. Stems are great for a vase and are an excellent source of nectar for the pollinators. Flower stems are long-lived and will appear from as early as May, lasting right through to October - allowing your garden to transition beautifully between the seasons. Foliage is semi-evergreen and, dependent upon where you garden in the UK, can be retained all year. Plants are beneficially drought tolerant once they have established good root structure and, as hardy perennials, the plants need no winter protection throughout most of the UK. All prefer well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade and reach a height of 80-90cm with a 60cm spread.
