Tell Me More...
Persicaria amplexicaulis High Society joins the persicaria family and brings a wiry-stemmed magnificence of flowers to your summer and autumn planting. Easy going and dependable, rich pink flowers are held over broad leaved, mid green foliage, which endures from March right through to November. Flowers appear slightly later, in June, and make a great addition to a low-maintenance plot as well as a coastal, wildlife or informal garden where this statuesque wonder will naturalise. Native to the Himalayas, Persicaria amplexicaulis High Society is a hardy and resilient, herbaceous perennial. Works exceptionally well in a cottage garden with lupins or delphiniums to add height and a romantic air. Persicaria amplexicaulis High Society should be planted in moist, well-drained soil which benefits from full sun or part shade, with any aspect other than north facing. Reaches a maximum height of 1.5m with a spread of 1m.
