Tell Me More...
Persicaria amphibium is a native British aquatic plant and one of the most versatile of all aquatic plants. Persicaria will grow in sun, part-shade, or shade. Should you plant in shallow water the leaves will be above the water, should you plant in deeper water he leaves will float on the surface. However, should you wish flowering, you best plant in a sunny aspect in deep water (50cm over crown), because this is the plants preference and stimulates the budding and blossom. A lovely aquatic plant which you sometimes see growing wild in ponds and canals throughput the UK.
