Tell Me More...
An unusual and exciting new variety of perovskia which is about as strong as they get - with exceptional drought resistance and cold hardiness within its family. Perovskia are best known for their incredibly long flowering season and Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Prime Time' flowers unceasingly from July to October each year. With colourful calyxes and dramatic purple-blue flowers, plants will draw in pollinators and make a wonderful inclusion in a vase. Plant at the edge of a pathway from where it will release an herby scent whenever the lacey, silver-green foliage is brushed past. Its robust nature makes this beauty ideal for pots, rockeries, or borders - it can even be planted as low-hedging as the foliage is retained from April to October adding its attractive silvery tones.Perovskia atriplicifolia 'Prime Time' prefers well-drained soil in full sun. A hardy, deciduous shrub which reaches a mature height and spread of 50cm.
