Tell Me More...
If you are looking for a sweet treat to plant in your garden borders, this bubble-gum pink beauty with semi-double, ruffled blooms should create a real ‘wow’! Paeonia ‘Garden Candy™ Double Bubble Pink’ is new to market for 2025 and the triumphant pinnacle of special breeding by Don Smith. It’s so delicate and pretty, yet tough as nails with deer and mildew resistance and consistent flowers each year. A cross between an herbaceous peony and a tree peony, Itoh, or intersectional, peonies take the very best features of each variety to bring you a mounded foliage habit along with exceptionally large and generous blooms and terrific mildew resistance. Flowers are borne in May and June, unfolding from tight spherical buds to lend dramatic impact to borders, containers and even vases inside your home. Plant Paeonia ‘Garden Candy™ Double Bubble Pink’ in moist, well-drained soil of any kind which benefits from sun or partial shade. Hardy (H6), herbaceous perennials which arrive well established in 2 litre pots. All three will mature to a height and spread of 90cm and last for years to come.
