Tell Me More...
Penstemon 'Pershore Pink Necklace' bears an abundance of stunning white bell-shaped flowers, looking rather foxglove-like, with each boasting picotee pink edges. Held on strong stems from late spring for over six months each year, Penstemon are a fantastic family of plants, because they are ideal for beginner and experienced gardener alike. A mainstay of the summer and autumn garden, and one of the longest blooming perennials. Incredibly hard working, Penstemon are oblivious of drought or rain and positively thrive in most soil conditions, in containers or borders, sun or part shade, and they propagate easily. You will not need to battle against slugs and snails either, as Penstemon are not eaten by any garden pests and are much loved by bees. Being a hardy perennial - RHS hardiness rating of H4 - Penstemon 'Pershore Pink Necklace' will only require winter protection if temperatures dip below -10 C. Reaching a height of approximately 1.2m, and spreading to around 60cm, you will enjoy a fantastic display for years to come.
