Tell Me More...
Developed and raised by renowned Pershore College of Horticulture, Penstemon ‘Pershore Pink Lady’ was released for sale in 2007. A charming perennial with a long blooming period from early summer to autumn. Stems up to 1m tall, hold a profusion of tubular, bright pink flowers with delicate white throats, creating a beautiful contrast against the semi-evergreen lance-shaped, dark green foliage. The vibrant blooms not only add a splash of colour but also attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, enhancing the biodiversity of your garden. 'Pershore Pink Lady' thrives in full sun to partial shade, preferring well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant once established, making it an excellent choice for low-maintenance gardens. Appreciated for its ease of care and versatility, working well in mixed borders, cottage gardens, and as a focal point in perennial beds. The upright habit and compact size make it suitable for smaller gardens and container planting. Resistant to most garden pests, including slugs and deer.
