Tell Me More...
A hard-to-find beauty, Penstemon 'Pensham Jessica Mai' will give you a profusion of bright, zingy pink, bell-shaped blooms for around 6 months each year. Held on strong stems over semi-evergreen foliage, the colour radiates out from your borders and containers, inviting passing bees and butterflies in for a nectar-rich drink. Penstemon 'Pensham Jessica Mai' is one of the Pensham range of Penstemon. Bred by the well-known breeder Edward Wilson, who focused on bringing strength and vigour to his new cultivars which were often named after relatives, friends, or colleagues. Easy to care for with very little tending required, Penstemon 'Pensham Jessica Mai' prefers to be grown in well-drained soil in sunny position, in borders or containers. Growing to a height of up to 60-80cm and spreading to between 45-60cm. The RHS have awarded a hardiness rating of H4, so if weather stays above -10 C, protection will not be required.
