Tell Me More...
Pyrogenic Pelargoniums are an exciting new series, aptly named for their large, densely packed spherical blooms which physically resemble fire balls of colour. Blooms are produced from May to October on superior, strong branching stems and have an intensity which is second to none. Pyrogenic pelargoniums also have exceptional heat and drought tolerance which means they will continue to perform despite rising summer temperatures. Plants have a semi-trailing habit for added interest. Vibrant, green, ivy-leaved foliage also helps to establish these robust and resplendent tender perennials as true trailblazers. Pyrogenic Pelargoniums prefer well-drained soil, and full sun - akin to that which they enjoy in their native Mediterranean environment. Sometimes grown as annuals, plants will need winter protection from temperatures below 5 to 1°C – ideally in a cool, frost-free greenhouse. Grow to reach a maximum of H: 30cm S: 45cm.
