Pelargonium peltatum 'Cascade Snow' is a self-cleaning beauty also known commonly as ivy leaf geranium and when you see the attractive hedera-like foliage you will understand why. Gently trailing down to around 60cm from baskets, window boxes and containers, perky, long-lasting, and hard-wearing blooms are produced from June to October. Extremely floriferous, each bloom consists of 5 long, crisp white petals, with contrasting dark maroon markings on 2 of the petals. Compact and trailing, the fleshy, dark green, foliage is very distinctive, the succulence helping towards their drought tolerance. Loved by bees and butterflies, Pelargonium peltatum 'Cascade Snow' will reach a height and spread of 50cm, trailing down to around 60cm. A tender annual, with an RHS hardiness rating H1C, so will need to be kept above 5°C. Cuttings can easily be taken to give you more plants the following year. Prefers full sun, in moist, well-drained soil, but will happily tolerate light shade.
