Tell Me More...
There is certainly no missing this intense and irresistibly coloured pelargonium when it flowers from May to October. Pelargonium ‘Calliope Hot Rose’ is a new colourway for 2024 and offers hot pink petals delicately marked with a splash of paler pink to the interior. Calliope pelargonium are a recently developed hybrid of zonale and ivy-leaved varieties and offer brighter, more long-lasting colours along with exceptional heat, drought and shade tolerance – bringing you a more reliable and outstanding performance in the garden. Foliage is semi-trailing and appears in April, lasting through to the first frosts. Leaves are crinkled, aromatic and robust, with plants reaching a height and spread of 45cm. Sensationally versatile - plant in borders, baskets, rockeries and containers for up to six months of sizzling colour. Prefers moist, well-drained soil, of any type, which benefits from full sun or partial shade. Deadhead spent blooms as you notice them to ensure a long-lasting display
