Gorgeous, exotic-looking climber which would enhance a bare wallKnown as Passion flower as it mirrors the symbols of Christs crucifixion. A semi-evergreen, fast-growing, tropical plant, ideal for planting to scramble up a wall or fence.Mature H&S: 8m x 4mExotic and intriguing scented lavender and white flowers bloom from April to August featuring long, wavy filaments. Later, edible fruits ripen which the birds love. Passion flowers prefer moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade in a sheltered south or west-facing aspect. In cold areas protect the plant with fleece or move to a frost-free area. Feed and water regularly during the growing season and prune in the spring to tidy up the vines.Propagate by softwood cuttings or seed in the spring.
