Opening for several days, and a favourite with butterflies and bees, ovoid, orange-yellow fruits follow in autumn and winter.Using tendrils, this stunning passion vine quickly covers a wall or shed and is evergreen in frost free areas. One of the hardiest passion vines, re-sprouting each spring. Passiflora caerulea has been given the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society for outstanding performance in the garden.Passiflora caerulea prefers to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Reaching a full height of 12m and spreading to 4m it is a hardy perennial with an RHS rating of H4, which means it is hardy to around -10 C.
