Tell Me More...
These cottage garden favourites are considered the most popular flowers in the world. What's more, these days, we are spoilt for choice with hundreds of different varieties of pansy to choose from. Your Pansy Ruffles 'Soft Lavender' has delightful bicolour blooms. These large, frilly flowers feature a central flash of yellow and a flurry of palest mauve-white and rich violet petals. The foliage is compact and evergreen - providing a beautiful frame to the multitudes of flowers which are borne gradually over the winter and then predominately from March to July. This pansy is part of the Ruffles series, which has been bred for its upright growth habit and heat-tolerant blooms. Ideal for planting in borders, rockeries, gravel gardens, containers and baskets - anywhere that benefits from moist, well-drained soil and a sunny or partially shaded site. A hardy perennial which is suitable for growing outside throughout most of the UK and reaches a height and spread of around 30cm in maturity.
