Paeonia x lemoinei 'High Noon' is a stunning tree peony hybrid that brings a burst of golden sunshine to the garden. This hybrid, a cross between Paeonia lutea and Paeonia suffruticosa, is cherished for its large, semi-double blooms that radiate a vibrant yellow hue with a touch of red at the centre. Each flower, measuring up to 20cm inches in diameter, exudes a delicate fragrance, adding an olfactory delight to its visual appeal. Blooming in May and June, reaching a height of 2m and spreading to around 1.5m, ‘High Noon’ makes a prominent and impressive specimen in borders and containers. Its dark green, deeply lobed foliage provides a striking contrast to the bright blooms, maintaining its ornamental value throughout the growing season.
