A profusion of small roundish leaves covers this herb. A native of the British Isles, found in the marshlands and easy to grow.Eriophorium scheuchzeri - This incredible variety grows in near Arctic conditions. You will find this tough plant growing in Alaska, Canada, Greenland, and Iceland. On top of the thin stems are white flowers, looking like the are made from cotton. White Cottongrass loves growing by riverbanks, ponds, wet meadows, and lines the edges of standing water.
