Tell Me More...
Matt leaves with hues of purple and red support delicate white flowersThe rich, burgundy, clover-like leaves produced by Oxalis 'Sunny' are triangular and architectural in appearance, often used by gardeners to provide a pleasing contrast for spring bulbs. From May to July, mounds formed by this foliage are covered by many funnel-shaped, pale pink flowers which open fully in sunlight, closing when conditions are overcast. Perfect for a sunny, sheltered spot outside, perhaps in a rockery or warm border, or in a container. Can also be grown as a glasshouse or conservatory plant. Prefers well drained, humus-rich soil in full sun. H&S: 20cm x 30cm. Tender perennial, meaning a frost-free environment is required. This can be achieved by planting in a warm microclimate, providing frost protection, or overwintering under cover if grown in a container.
