Tell Me More...
A neat and compact variety of catmint, Nepeta Kit Cat is a valuable and undemanding addition to your garden.Adding a delightful lavender-blue edging to your borders or planted as an understorey to roses and other taller-growing shrubs, Nepeta Kit Cat's soft blue flowers and green-grey foliage are a magnet to bees, butterflies and of course, cats, who simply cannot resist the delights of its minty scent! This plant belongs to the mint family, which may be no surprise.Low growing and mound forming, this nepeta will reach a height and spread of 30cm and will not impose on other plants or outgrow its space like some varieties can. Flowering abundantly from June to September, particularly with a prune back after its initial summer flush. This fully hardy shrub grows well with little attention on all well-drained soil types, in full sun or part shade, and is the perfect choice in modern or traditional gardens.
