A new arrival for 2024, Nemesia ‘Neminio Up Blue and Cream’ has all the delicacy of other nemesia with a longer flowering season. Blooming commences in May and lasts right through to October time, crossing 3 seasons and adding purple-blue and cream flowers to baskets, containers and rockeries. With a wonderfully fragrant habit, their perfume is sweetly floral - likened to ‘vanilla infused custard’ – and is attractive to both pollinators and passers-by. If that is not sufficient, this newcomer also has exceptional heat tolerance and once established, is drought tolerant too. With antecedents native to South Africa, these fantastically productive plants like a spot in full sun or partial shade. Plant in well-drained soil which is loam or sand based and locate in a spot with a south or east facing aspect to give some protection from cold winds.
