Tell Me More...
A juicy and joyful new arrival for 2024, Nemesia ‘Escential Cherryberry’ with flowers that smell as good as they look. Blooming from May to October – the sweet, vanilla-like scent will waft across your garden on spring, summer and autumn breezes adding an extra, sensory element to your planting. Flowers are open-mouthed and resemble miniature snapdragons, hence the common name. This variety has rich, cherry red upper petals, with lower, white petals streaked by the same cherry hues and highlighted by a yellow flame to the centre – a miniature work of art too. Nemesia ‘Escential Cherryberry’ is ideal for adding to mixed containers and baskets, although it will easily hold its own if planted solo. Able to cope with drought or dry soil once established, plants also thrive in a rockery or gravel garden, adding weed-suppressing groundcover as they grow.Plant in well-drained soil which is loam or sand based and locate in a spot with full sun or partial shade and a south or east facing asp
