A trio of award winners - each holding the RHS Award of Garden Merit for its dependability and outstanding performance in the garden. These beautiful natives and hybrids are carefully selected to inspire you as well as historical poets and artists such as Wordsworth. Creating swathes of colour from March to May, with delicate and delightful perfume from 'Jetfire' and 'poeticus'. Bulbs happily grow in containers yet come to the fore in open ground where they colonise, bringing an abundance of blooms and adding their earthy, jasmine-like perfume.Collection comprises: pseudonarcissus subsp. pseudonarcissus - commonly known as the Lent Lily and our archetypal native daffodil; 'Jetfire' - a hybrid, cyclamineus daffodil more resistant to winds as it reaches only 20cm tall; poeticus var. recurvus - also know as the Pheasant's Eye, originates from high Alpine meadows and has beautiful colouration along with intense fragrance.All bulbs prefer moist, well-drained soil in full to partial sun and are hardy perennials which require no winter protection, providing they do not sit in wet soil.
