Tell Me More...
A highly fragrant and award-winning Triandrus type daffodil which has been a favourite of gardeners for over 100 years! Narcissus 'Thalia' boasts large, highly fragrant pure white blooms and is sometimes referred to as the Orchid Narcissus - a reflection of its purity and beauty. Great for naturalising through lawns, gravel gardens and borders, yet perfectly happy in a container or rockery too. Pollinators will be drawn to these as a rich source of nectar, and you are sure be tempted to cut them for a vase inside your home too.Blooms emerge in March to April as multi-headed trumpets, with buds having a zesty green hue. Once flowers open, they become pure white, and stems reach up to 40cm tall - just perfect for cutting.Narcissus 'Thalia' prefers a spot which benefits from well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. A hardy, bulbous perennial with an individual spread of around 10cm.
