Tell Me More...
An exciting newcomer, Narcissus Lemon Drops brings a prolific display of nodding, pale yellow and cream flowers during March and April each year. Great for naturalising through lawns, gravel gardens and borders, yet perfectly happy in a container or rockery too. Pollinators will be drawn to these as a rich source of early nectar and pollen. This beauty holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit in recognition of its outstanding performance and dependability.Plant Narcissus Lemon Drops with other spring flowering bulbs such as bluebells, grape hyacinth or dwarf iris for a spectacular display to welcome in the season. Strong stems reach up to 60cm tall and hold multiple flowers, ideal for including in a vase or other floral display. Strap-shaped foliage is carried from February through to May - allow this to die back before removal as this restores nutrients to the bulb ready for repeat flowering the following year.Narcissus Lemon Drops prefers a spot which benefits from well-drained soil and full sun or partial shade. A hardy, bulbous perennial with an individual spread of around 10cm.
