Brightly coloured and intensely fragranced, Narcissus Falconet is a Tazetta, which has the added bonus of being multi-headed with a long blooming period over March and April. In clusters of up to 20 perfect flowers, the sunshine yellow petals hold a tiny golden-orange cup on stems of up to 40cm.Beautifully fragranced narcissi make wonderful cut flowers lasting up to a week in the vase. Allow cut stems to condition in water overnight if adding to other blooms as their stems leak a sap which can shorten the vase-life of other flowers.Plant your bulbs in autumn, in a sunny spot on well-drained soil at a depth of 15cm for a glorious display next spring.Especially stunning when planted closely together in a pot, perhaps grouped with more pots of narcissi or tulips of different heights.
