Tell Me More...
If you plant just one spring bulb, plant the most highly scented Narcissus of all time, Erlicheer. The creamy-yellow speckled blooms grow in clusters of 15-20 florets on 40cm stems, fading to an elegant ivory-white.Also known as Early Cheer, this narcissus was introduced to us by a plantaholic who strongly recommended growing them indoors in a decorative pot for endless Christmas flowers and stunning fragrance. Add some moss at the base and a few twigs for support for a beautiful, natural looking display. After flowering indoors, you can plant the bulbs into borders or pots in your garden and experience the scent for years to come.If growing outdoors to flower in mid-spring, plant your bulbs in autumn 15cm deep on moist, well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Beautiful combined with some of the unusual muscari varieties or other delicate narcissi in a pot.
