The Heavenly Bamboo is an unusual, easy to grow exotic-looking addition to any garden. Despite its name, it is not actually related to Bamboo, but is named so because of its Bamboo-like habit, without being invasive. This compact shrub is loved for it's vibrant red foliage that turns to a deeper red during the autumn and winter months, and turns to green as the plant matures. It's happily grown in containers and prefers moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
