Nandina domestica 'Fire Power' is a trail blazer which will bring interest to the garden all year round. In spring, new, bamboo-like foliage emerges. Then, in summer, foliage is topped with clusters of white, star-shaped flowers which provide a stunning contrast to the lush foliage. After this, ornamental rose-hip-like berries follow in late summer and, as they mature, they become a rich, glossy red. In autumn, the triumphant finale of Nandina domestica ‘Fire Power’ begins with yellow, orange, red and deep claret trifoliate foliage putting on a dazzling display which is retained all winter.
