Discover the captivating beauty of Clematis 'Bridgewater', a climbing perennial vine that adds a touch of elegance to any garden. Renowned for its stunning large flowers, 'Bridgewater' showcases a delightful blend of soft pink and creamy white petals with a striking central star pattern. This makes for an eye-catching display which blooms from May to July and then again in September with saucer sized flowers, up to 15cm in diameter! This vigorous climber is perfect for trellises, fences, and arbours - offering lush vertical interest and a romantic ambiance to your outdoor space. Clematis 'Bridgewater' thrives in full sun to partial shade and is adaptable to most soil types, making it an excellent choice for both novice and experienced gardeners. As with most clematis it likes its roots in the shade and an opportunity to scramble towards the sun, reaching a height of 1.2m and a spread of around 90cm. A magnet for bees and butterflies which is happy in a container or in open ground, flowering stems can even be cut for a vase.
