Monarda didyma 'Sugar Buzz Blue Moon' is a new and exciting, astoundingly deep coloured, lavender blue beauty which will shine forth just like its namesake in your summer garden. A joyous way to aid your planting's transition between the seasons with punky shaped flowers and bracts rising above deep, rich green foliage and enticing in the bees and butterflies for a feast. Foliage and flowers omit a sumptuous and distinctive fragrance when brushed or touched so plants are perfect for lining pathways or filling strategically placed containers, as well as filling vases indoors. Monarda didyma 'Sugar Buzz Blue Moon' is a fully hardy perennial which requires no winter protection. As an herbaceous plant, it dies back during winter each year and remains dormant until the following spring, when it re-emerges and repeats its flowering cycle. Prefers a position which benefits from rich, moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Plants grow to a height of 60cm with a spread of 80cm.
