An exuberant explosion of feathery pink panicles, Miscanthus sinensis ‘Kaskade’ offers a dramatic display of rich texture, superb structure, and dynamic movement for your garden. Slender straps of foliage emerge a verdant green, turning copper in autumn and fading to pewter in winter. A spray of silky magenta plumes cascades from August to September, gradually softening to a shade of taupe. With a height of 1.8m, and spreading to 1.5m, this graceful grass will sway elegantly in the breeze, providing a soothing rustling sound and softening hard landscaping. Miscanthus sinensis ‘Kaskade’ makes an excellent addition to prairie style planting, coastal locations, herbaceous borders, and large containers.
