Fruit for a small space Dreaming of homegrown fruit, but dont have the space then this trio will solve your conundrum! Combining good yields with petite size. All plants will grow to around 1.5-2m height and spread and are partially self-fertile. Malus Gala: a reliable dessert apple which crops in mid-autumn and one of the most popular with sweet and juicy flesh. Gala bears beautiful pink and white blossom during spring. Pyrus Doyenn du Comice AGM; provides large, delicious dessert pears in the late summer. However, what catches your eye is the superb white blossom which cover the tree in the Spring. Malus Golden Delicious; an easy, reliable variety suitable for both eating and cooking. Fruits are fresh, crisp, and juicy. These prefer moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded, sheltered spot. All partially self-fertile, though will crop most heavily with other varieties growing nearby. (Gala and Golden Delicious are perfect pollinating partners). Fully hardy and hardy deciduous trees.
