Offering year-round interest and delicate, star-shaped blooms in shades of white, pink, and cream they are perfect for scrambling up trellises, fences, and archways, The ‘Melodic Jasminum Collection’ comprises; officinale ‘Clotted Cream’ – a well-known deciduous favourite, abundant clusters of creamy-yellow blooms are produced from June to August, height and spread 4m; Hardy to -15°C. beesianum (Red Jasmine) – semi-evergreen foliage is the perfect foil for rich red-pink blooms with golden yellow stamen from June to July, height 6m, spread 3m; Hardy to -15°C. polyanthum (Pink Jasmine) – evergreen foliage supports clusters of pink buds open to reveal crisp white blooms in March and April, height 3m, and spread 2.5m. Tender to 1°C. A collection of climbing shrubs which can be planted in moist, well-drained, humus rich soil of any kind. Position in full sun or partial shade with a south or west facing aspect. Jasmine polyanthum can be moved in the winter to a conservatory or warm sheltered position.
