Originating from South America, these pollinator enticing blooms are renowned for their showy summer blooms with distinctive speckled markings. Breeding has developed new and exciting colours and variations, with the Marvellous Majestics Alstroemeria Collection encompassing a ‘fresh to market’ variety along with two well-established new arrivals. Offering flowers from June through to October – which last up to 14 days in a vase – these tuberous beauties increase year on year to form large clumps with armfuls of flowers. Marvellous Majestics Alstroemeria Collection comprises ‘Layon’ in yellow and pink shades; ‘Maze’ in pure white with reddish pink and green accents; and intense new arrival ‘Milon’ in resplendent shades of orange, pink and gold. Easy going and bothered by very few pests, remember to deadhead plants by pulling the flower stems gently from the bottom of the plant.
