With its wide range of colours and sizes, our Eryngium Magic Collection perfectly demonstrates the variety possible within one genus. A striking evergreen with heavily sculpted foliage, eryngium is often combined with softer plants for a pleasing texture contrast. Flowers are clustered in small, thistle-like domes, excellent for dried arrangements or providing winter interest when left on the plant. Deep tap roots enable this perennial to thrive in difficult, dry conditions. The collection comprises of: - 'Blue Globe'; compact plant with small, silvery flowers maturing to deep indigo. (50cm x 40cm). - 'Green Globe'; tall, architectural plant with unusual, pale creamy green flowers. (90cm x 40cm). - 'Symphony'; intriguingly multi-coloured; clusters of bright green flowers which turn blue at varying rates. (75cm x 40cm). Prefer dry, well-drained, poor to moderately fertile soil in full sun. Require protection from winter wet, perhaps in the rain shadow of a wall, tree, or shrub. Hardy perennials.
