Slender, tubular flowers are a wonder and full of nectar. Fast growing, twining, bushy climbers which will climb and clamber up a trellis, fence or through a garden framework.
This collection comprises; japonica ‘Hall’s Prolific’ AGM - clusters of stunning blooms from June to August, each one opens crisp white and changes to buttery yellow as it matures, height 6m, spread 3m; x tellmanniana AGM – red flushed buds open to reveal bright amber, tubular blooms from May to July, height 5m, spread 1m; and periclymenum ‘Serotina’ AGM - vibrant pink buds burst open to reveal yellow and ivory scented flowers between July and September, height 8m, spread 1.5m.
Lonicera prefer to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in partial shade, however, do tolerate full sun. All are hardy perennials with RHS ratings of H5 to H6, which grow outside all year round with no winter protection required.
