The Luscious Lupinus Collection boasts attractive, lush green, palmate foliage from spring to first frosts which provides up to seven months of gap filling interest. Each summer, impressive spires rise, densely packed with small pea-like blooms which are loved by bees, butterflies and florists too. Collection comprises: 'Towering Inferno' - flaming, lush, orange blooms, a vivacious colour which will set your borders and containers alight, height 90cm, spread 60cm; 'Magic Lantern' - an unusual three coloured lupin of purple, pink and yellow, its blooms are held on strong stems, height 75cm, spread 50-60cm; and 'Desert Sun' - a wonderous sight as bright, almost luminous yellow spires rise in summer, height 90cm, spread 60cm.Luscious Lupinus Collection prefers to be grown in moderately fertile, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Hardy perennials which should be cut back hard after flowering to direct energy back into plants, thus increasing the likelihood of better, healthier growth the following year.
