Tell Me More...
An exciting new generation of lupin, which does not compromise on the impact or abundance of blooms yet is a little smaller in stature, so perfect for patios, courtyards and balconies. In June and July pea-like flowers are held on strong stems in varying shades of magenta, bubblegum and powder puff pink. Perfect for cutting to add to a vase, these pollinator enticing towers are sure to make an impact, despite their petite stature. Flowers are held above blue-green palmate leaves which emerge in March and remain until October – adding gap-filling interest in their own right. Plant in the mid-tier of an herbaceous border, at the edge of a path or in a curated container where these abundant blooms and verdant leaves will mature to a height of 80cm and spread of 60cm. Lupinus polyphyllus ‘Legendary Rose Shades’ prefers a spot in fertile, moist, well-drained soil which is loam or sand based with an acid or neutral pH. Position in full sun to partial shade with any aspect other than nort
