Tell Me More...
A member of the impressive new Gallery series, Lupinus ‘Gallery Pink’ bears many tapered, upright spires of soft pink flowers. The compact, densely packed, clump-forming habit of the series makes it suitable for providing colour towards the front of a border as well as containers. Bright green foliage is an attractive feature in its own right, palmate and divided into narrow leaflets. Lupinus is a cottage garden favourite, invaluable for providing vertical accents throughout a planting scheme. Much visited by pollinators, and an excellent cut flower. Prefers moderately fertile, light, slightly acidic, well-drained, sandy soil in full sun or partial shade. H&S: 60cm x 35cm. Hardy, short-lived perennial. Allow some flowers to set seed, ensuring future generations. Cut others back hard after flowering to direct energy back into plants, increasing the likelihood of healthy growth the following year.
