Lonicera periclymenum ‘Serotina’ floods the late summer air with its sweet heady fragrance. Vibrant pink-red buds burst open to reveal yellow and ivory scented flowers between July and September. Be sure to plant this vigorous climber where it will be fully enjoyed, against a garden wall, trellis, or over a seating area. The beautiful flowers are followed by bright red berries in autumn, making Honeysuckle a magnet for wildlife. Thanks to its looks, scent, and brilliant garden performance, Lonicera periclymenum ‘Serotina’ has been awarded a prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the RHS. Grows best in well-drained soil, in light shade facing any aspect. Prune established plants back by one third after flowering and mulch around the base with compost or well-rotted manure. Lonicera periclymenum Serotina is a hardy (H6) deciduous shrub, easy to care for and perfect for wildlife or cottage gardens. H&S: 8m x 1.5m
