With mounds of rich, plum purple flowers held in generous clusters from June to October, Lobularia maritima ‘Easy Breezy Purple’ is ideal for planting in baskets and containers. Contrasting beautifully with the slender, simple green foliage, which appears slightly earlier in April, blooms form generous, spherical displays and spread their sweet fragrance across the garden, enticing in pollinators as well as admiring eyes. Plants also make invaluable weed-suppressing groundcover – ideal for lining pathways, forming generous clumps in rockeries and bulging over raised beds.
Lobularia maritima ‘Easy Breezy Purple’ grows to a height of 30cm with a generous spread of 40cm, and has a beneficial, multi-branching habit. Renowned for exceptional heat tolerance as well as its compact round shape – ‘Easy Breezy’ is a carefree delight which can be planted on its own or with other annuals for a variance of shape and form.
