Tell Me More...
Lingering Lathyrus Collection offers popular and enduring perennials which have been sown as multiples to provide you with an abundance of plants for the summer garden. Forget the annual sweet peas - these wonderous blooms will return each June, offering sprays of much-loved, sweet pea flowers, often through until September. Lingering Lathyrus Collection's blooms are set against grey-green foliage providing fast-growing, fragrance-free delights which will happily cover a pergola, drape elegantly over a wall, or wind tendrils up through an evergreen shrub. Pollinators love these open-mouthed blooms and are sure to come for a feast. Flowers are excellent for the vase or floral displays and plants do not require any winter protection - simply let them die back beneath the soil each year and they will return for floriferous delight the next summer.Plants in Lingering Lathyrus Collection prefer rich, moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade and will grow to reach a height and spread of around 2m. Collection comprises: latifolius 'Red Pearl'; award-winning latifolius 'White Pearl'; and award-winning latifolius 'Pink Pearl'.
