Tell Me More...
Limonium gmellini Dazzle Rocks is a new variety which was due to be displayed for the first time at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2020. As we all know this unfortuantely had to be cancelled. A unique variety, it is the first ever fully hardy Limonium down to -30 C. Bred by Peter Van Stejn, whose specialty is breeding plants which are renowned for performance both in the garden and as cut or dried flowers.Marvel at the astounding number of blooms which adorn this compact, well-branched beauty from June to September. Being drought tolerant and heat resistant, Limonium Dazzle Rocks will positively thrive in either borders or containers. The bees and butterflies will come collecting from your garden making the branches a hive of industry. You will have armfuls of flowers for fresh or dried arrangements within your home. Limonium Dazzle Rocks prefers well-drained soil in sun or part shade, reaching a mature height and spread of approximately 40cm, with no winter protection required, you will be admiring this beauty for years to come.
