Once the sprouting buds get going, the tops of the lanterns ingeniously tilt to allow the foliage to grow through, what an amazing idea. When the blooms have faded, plant your bulbs into the garden. Happy in either a border or container, in moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot, so you can enjoy the beauty and scent next spring.
