Colourful, reliable, and easy to grow, Lathyrus latifolius is a perennial climber which gives you armfuls of cut flowers all summer long. Just cut them back in the autumn and they shoot again in the spring. Climbing a trellis, scrambling through a shrub or spreading across the ground, the racemes of pea-like flowers (which are unscented and beautiful) ,creates a gorgeous display.
