A new improvement on the cottage garden favourite, the ‘Larkish West Country Lupin Collection’ produces huge, tapered, upright spires. Determined to stand out from the crowd, the showstopping West Country Lupins are certain to make a statement in your summer garden. The palmate foliage is also an attractive feature, divided into narrow leaflets and held from March to October. Lupins are a particularly valuable source of nectar for pollinators. This collection comprises; ‘Gladiator’ - sunny yellow and orange bicolour blooms; ‘Rachel de Thame’ - pink and white blooms; and ‘King Canute’ - blue and white flowers. The ‘Larkish West Country Lupin Collection’ prefers a spot in fertile, well-drained soil which has the benefit of either full sun or partial shade. Hardy, herbaceous perennials which reach a height of 90cm with a spread of 60-75cm. Once the flowers have faded, we recommend cutting back the spikes so that plants can restock their energy reserves for the following year.
